SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals
Sustainable development is the responsibility of every part of society, across the world. It cannot be achieved without linkages, across the goals, but also between institutions, governments, companies, NGOs, and people. The Faculty of Dentistry Universitas Indonesia supports the SDGs through collaboration with other countries, the promotion of best practices and the publication research. Unless all partners work together towards the SDGs, they cannot be achieved. Some of the implementation and contributions are:
- Have direct involvement in, or input into, national government SDG policy development – including identifying problems and challenges, developing policies and strategies, modelling likely futures with and without interventions, monitoring and reporting on interventions https://fkg.ui.ac.id/17053/.
- Initiate and participate in cross-sectoral dialogue about the SDGs, e.g. conferences involving government or NGOs. Conferences informations are available in http://conference.ui.ac.id/index/index/index
- Participate in international collaboration on gathering or measuring data for the SDGs. Detailed proof can be accessed in https://scholar.ui.ac.id/en/organisations/faculty-of-dentistry/publications/
- Through international collaboration and research, review comparative approaches and develop international best practice on tackling the SDGs. Networking showing external collaboration on country/territory level data are available in https://scholar.ui.ac.id/en/organisations/faculty-of-dentistry/network-map/
