SDG 15: Life on Land

Life on land is a precious resource. We need to ensure that it is passed on to future generations, at a time when loss of biodiversity is an increasing concern. Universities have responsibility for very different landscapes and the life within, but all have a responsibility as stewards of their environment. The Faculty of Dentistry Universitas Indonesia does contribute although not largely to SDG 15. Some of the daily activities that are available are:

• Have water quality standards and guidelines for water discharges in regards to hospital waste
• Have a policy on reducing plastic waste on campus, as mandated by the University and government
• Have a policy on waste disposal covering hazardous materials according to the international and national standard regarding waste management of biological waste
